Vaasan Ltd is a Finnish bakery company that operates also in the Baltic countries. We bake locally in four bakeries across Finland in Vantaa, Kuusankoski, Kotka, Vammala and Kiiminki. We have approximately 1400 employees in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. About 600 of them work in Finland. We are a significant employer in the areas where our bakeries are located.
As part of the global bakery group Lantmännen Unibake, we are among the leading bakery companies in Europe with operations in over 20 countries. Via Lantmännen Unibake, we also belong to the agricultural cooperative Lantmännen, that is owned by 19 000 farmers.
We are known as the producer of Finland’s most popular bread, Vaasan Ruispalat. Our roots run deep in Finland, back to the year 1849, making us one of the oldest nationwide bakeries. We cherish our long baking tradition and are committed to developing the Finnish bread culture for years to come. We renew the bread market with innovations from field to fork. Our mission is to ensure that Finns get to enjoy fresh, healthy and tasty bread every day.

Our product range consist of bread and pastry
We are proud to produce the most popular bread in Finland, Vaasan Ruispalat. Other known brands are, for instance, Vaasan Kauratyynyt, Vaasan Kaurasydän and Vaasan Kaura 100 %. Our product range also includes Vaasan hamburger and hot dog buns and some sweet products.
You can spot Vaasan logo also on the cover of a crisp bread package and frozen products. Lantmännen Cerealia produces crisp breads in Finland and Lantmännen Unibake Finland the frozen products.
